What are the benefits of volunteering at Whaley Children’s Center?

    • You are able to help children in need. By enriching our children with your knowledge, skills, and leadership you are empowering our children to have a brighter, more successful future.
    • You are saving our agency money.  By volunteering you are allowing Whaley Children’s Center to allocate very valuable funds towards programs and services our children need.
    • You gain new skills, which is one of the best benefits of volunteering.
    • You can add experience to your resume, which increases your marketability in the job market.
    • You will gain networking contacts. Those you volunteer for can become great contacts and a form of reference for you down the road.
    • You can enhance your college application.  Volunteering can give college admission counselors a greater sense of the depth of your personality and volunteering can showcase your well-roundedness as an individual.
