When children come to Whaley Children’s Center, they often arrive at one of the most challenging times in their lives. Many come with no more than a garbage bag of belongings. They’ve missed out on simple joys like birthday celebrations, pizza parties, or movie nights.

As a Wellness Warrior, your monthly gift helps provide calming tools like fidget toys, stress balls, and sensory items that support children as they navigate their healing journey. While these tools may seem simple, they offer comfort and relief, helping children manage stress and stay grounded as they work through their emotions.
Cozy nights in with a bowl of popcorn and catching the latest movie. The most perfect night is created when you become a Smile Producer. This covers all the essentials: snacks, popcorn, popcorn seasoning, and our subscriptions to Hulu, Netflix, and Disney+
From ice cream socials to pizza parties, you will give our children some of the simple joys of being a kid. Your gift will provide fun activities that create happy memories.
Every child deserves to feel extra special on their birthday. For many of our children, their very first birthday celebration happens at Whaley. Your contribution will help them feel important on their special day by having a cake with their name, decorations in their home, and birthday present
Every year, approximately 60-70 children come and go through our doors. Upon arrival, the majority of our children show up on our steps with only a garbage bag full of their life possessions. You can help make them feel like they belong. Your monthly donation will provide a child with a backpack full of all the essentials and soothing items for welcoming them to their new home. These contributions are also used to make sure that a child who is moving on from the Center has a suitcase filled with all that is needed to help in their new journey.
