The Compliance Team at Whaley Children's Center is a department dedicated to assuring the agency maintains all safety, emergency, and quality standards and meets all state licensing regulations. This department conducts weekly on-site inspections of all housing units, on-grounds, and group homes, to ensure they maintain licensing, fire, health, and safety standards. They conduct daily camera reviews to assure safety and compliance campus-wide, review safety and food supplies, review medication passes, review every incident and restraint report for licensing and safety compliance standards to ensure all DHHS reporting standards are maintained, and review case records for licensing compliance. They conduct weekly vehicle inspections to make sure that all agency vehicles meet all Michigan state-required standards and are safe to transport our children in. In addition, this department is responsible for ensuring everyone follows all Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Procedures and maintains the safety and well-being of all children in our care.
