Items Needed

Item donations help us make sure our children have everything they need without having to take from our general budget.

Currently, we are looking for:

  • New Underwear (Men's and Women's sizes)
  • Nair
  • Children and Adult Medicines
  • Portable DVD Players
  • Pop Its, Fidget Spinners, and Other Fidget Toys
  • Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body Wash (including Men's and Hypoallergenic)
  • Thick Yoga Mats and Foam Yoga Blocks
  • Cleaning Supplies
  • Laundry Detergent and Scent Boosters (Including Hypoallergenic)
  • Hair Care Products for Wavy, Curly, Coily hair
  • Clear, Plastic Storage Bin (All Sizes)

We accept donations by appointment only. Please call 810-234-3603 to schedule an appointment.

We appreciate all donations, but because of safety and health concerns, we are unable to accept used stuffed animals, undergarments, sheets, blankets, or pillows. We also cannot accept anything glass, toy weapons, or porcelain dolls for our children.

Giving Tree

Are you a local business or group that would like to give back items in a bigger way? Get a Giving Tree and help our Center meet all of our needs.

When your company requests a Giving Tree, we will deliver a tree to your business with assorted tags hanging from it. Each tag has a different Center need including household cleaners, laundry supplies, children’s activities, medicines and gift cards. We ask, that you and your employees or clients, purchase the items off the tags for our children. At the end of the month, we will pick up the tree, take a picture and share all of your hard work on our Facebook Page.

Whaley Bucks Store

Our Whaley Bucks Store is a rewards based program that lets our children earn Whaley Bucks to shop for items to purchase. To make this program successful, we are always looking for new toys and accessories for our children. Some of the most popular items are:

  • Legos
  • DVD's (G, PG, or PG-13)
  • Make-up (No mirrors)
  • Portable DVD Player
  • Wireless Speakers
  • MP3 Players
  • $5-$20 Gift Cards
  • Adult Coloring Books
  • Headphones
